Join us on this extraordinary excursion! This slightly different City Tour takes us first through the up-and-coming, trendy district of Zürich West. On a short stroll we show you how the former industrial area became the booming district of Zürich. Learn about the interesting history of the world famous engineering companies of the past century like Escher Wyss, Sulzer and Maag. Did you know that the first Swiss Railway crossed this part of the town on the way from Zürich to Baden? Today you can find some of the hottest clubs in town, interesting museums, theatres and shops of trendy fashion brands in the abandoned industrial buildings. See the highest building of Switzerland – the Prime Tower. Drive then to the beautiful Lake Zürich. In Kilchberg, at the headquarters of the famous chocolate factory Lindt a great shopping opportunity awaits you. Buy some of the most delicious Swiss Chocolate at best conditions at the Lindt Chocolate Shop. After this unique chance you take a lovely, short walk along the shore of the lake. At the ship station you board the boat for a comfortable excursion around Lake Zürich. Relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape on this remarkable one-hour ride back to Zürich! The tour ends at Bürkliplatz, very close to the famous Bahnhofstrasse, the Old Town and the Limmatquai. Multilingual guide!
Please note that in winter season (starting on 22nd of October) the boat is not running. Therefore the coach brings you back to Sihlquai Coach Parking.
