Unforgettable excursion to a beautiful, idyllic region of Eastern Switzerland. We start with a short City Tour through the upcoming, trendy district of Zürich West. Via the University and the Museum of Art we get right into the heart of the Old Town. Passing by the beautiful Limmatquai and the Fraumünster Church we finally reach the Lake of Zürich. A great shopping opportunity you will get at the outlet-shop of the famous Lindt & Sprüngli Chocolate Factory. The journey takes you then to Rapperswil, well known for its medieval castle before you reach the picturesque village of Appenzell. Guided walk through the small town with its lovely old painted houses. During your time at leisure the pedestrian zone with its beautiful facades invites you for a stroll or some shopping. A short drive takes you to Brülisau where you start the ride with the aerial cable car to the peak of the Panorama Mountain Hoher Kasten* (1800m / 6000 ft). Enjoy the fascinating view over the green and hilly Appenzellerland, the Rhine Valley and the Vorarlberg (Austria). Take a walk through the Alpine Garden or visit the spectacular revolving restaurant! (Lunch excl.) On our way back to Zürich we visit the cheese factory at Stein where the famous Appenzeller cheese is made! Entire tour with multi-lingual guide.

* Due to unforseen technical problems, the aerial cable car to Mt. Hoher Kasten will be out of order till 10. of September. Guests visit instead the close-by Mt. Kronberg. From 13. of September the tour will run normaly again.
