The journey takes you through the typical landscape of Northern Switzerland located close to the German border. This area is famous for its vineyards. You will cross the beautiful farming village of Marthalen. Admire the fantastic, traditional frame houses. In Schaffhausen you will see the well-known Munot Fortress from the 16th century. Finally you reach the highlight of this excursion: the stunning Rhine Falls - Europe's biggest waterfall. Let yourself get thrilled by this sublime natural phenomenon. You can reach the rock in the middle of the falls by boat and get right into the breathtaking falls (optional, only in summer available). Have here one hour at leisure to marvel at this nature spectacle before returning to Zurich.
