Stanserhorn - CabriO Cable Car

Embark on a relaxing coach tour through stunning scenery via the Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the picture-perfect town of Lucerne. Board a vintage funicular for an unforgettable ride through blooming meadows to the valley station of CabriO – the world’s first open top aerial cable car. The latest masterpiece of Swiss engineering offers unimpaired views from its roofless upper deck – a truly memorable experience! Arrive at Mt Stanserhorn (1,900 m a.s.l.) and take in a magnificent panoramic view over ten lakes, 100 kilometres of Alpine mountain range and three countries. Take a short hike to the Eagle’s Peak and ask a knowledgeable volunteer ranger to help you identify local flora and fauna. 

Watch lively marmots play at the marmot enclosure before you relish a pot of Alpine Macaroni or a different Swiss signature dish at the revolving Rondorama restaurant. Descend to Stans and take a public train back to Lucerne. Climb one of the Musegg Wall’s towers for fantastic views over the city, the lake and the surrounding mountains and soak in the atmosphere in the Old Town before you meet your tour guide for the coach ride back to Zurich in the evening.
